Seol Sionna Launch and boating festival

Querrin Pier: Saturday May 19th, 2 - 5pm

Carrigaholt Village: Sunday May 20th, 1 - 7pm

Join us in Querrin for:

2:30pm : Currach racing
4:00pm : Loop Head Studio's, Sean Scéal Sionna pageant
5:00pm : See Sally O' Keefe set sail from Querrin shore accompanied by friends and neighbours on and off the water.
7:00pm : Arrive in Carrigaholt

Dolphinwatch's Draiocht will take passengers up to Carrigaholt for the Parade of Sail at 5pm. We all hope to arrive before 7pm where festivities will continue in Carrigaholt until Sunday evening as follows:

Carrigaholt - Sunday 20th May

11:00 am : Kilcredaun Heritage walk with Laura Foley from "The Long way around walks"
1 - 3:00pm : Yacht racing,
3 - 4:00pm : Story telling based in Dolphinwatch office, the Square
4 - 4:30pm : Sean Sceal Sionna pageant

Followed my more music and fun for the all ages !!

Raffle : Don't forget we have framed fathom charts as prizes for the raffle which will be held tomorrow (Sat 19th).

Ned Griffin has kindly framed these charts of the Shannon with offcuts of the oak from the boat build. These are really special prizes and ones that will provide a story to tell for many years.
